Eyes burning like fire
Apr. 10th, 2004 11:43 pmHad fun today. Got up at SEVEN-THIRTY IN THE MORNING, A.M. Went to Albany/Guilderlandish. Carpooled to Syracuse. Enjoyed seeing my friends again, especially Lilly, the guest of honor, who I've not seen in an amazingly long time. Looking forward to her wedding next month. The shower was good, quite entertaining. And then I rode back, and drove home.
And now I'm forcing myself to stay awake, because if I go to bed this early, I'm gonna be all screwed up tomorrow, when I have to work. My eyes feel like they're gonna jump out of my head and run off and make a new life for themselves. They really, really hurt.
I need to go dress shopping. Maybe next week.
Got my big-ass credit card bill. Hope to have enough money left to write a check for SPAC tickets, 'cause the money for preorders for John Mayer is due Monday.
Contemplating whether the wedding should include an overnight stay. Nobody else seems to be staying, 'cause they're doing stuff. But late afternoon wedding + reception, how late will that end? Will I feel like driving 3 1/2 hours home after that? I have the next day off, so I could probably crash at my aunt's place, 'cause she's only like, I dunno, 45 minutes? or something? away (I suck at figuring out distances/travel times for places out there). I'm sure she'd be happy to have me, 'cause I never get to see her and she's just sorta a lonely old lady a lot of the time, it seems. I don't know how to get there, either, but what else is new when it comes to out there, I'm not worried about that.
Gah. My eyes are totally killing me. Must... stay... up...
