We don't need no stinkin' plot

I'm working on my story right now, trying to come up with some more details to outline the thing before I start writing.

I need to get some names for my main characters and for the incidental ones, too. I should do that now-ish.

I also need to figure out a major plot point -- how to get an alcoholic into the hospital, clinging to life, without using drunken driving.
