Five (more) things I associate with you

1. Adorability
Aw, really? Gee, thanks! I guess maybe that's true sometimes ... I do look cute when I'm really happy, I think. So I guess I'm been exceedingly adorable in the past year or so, huh? :)
2. Queer Eye For The Straight Guy
Gosh, it's been a long time, huh? Yeah, I was really into this show for the first two or three seasons. I was... not a metrosexual, 'cause those are men... upwardly aspiring, perhaps? I was a junkie for high-end interior design, especially, though the rest of the parts of the show were educational as well. And snarky banter is always amusing. (And yes, Shannon, I did think Thom was cute ... in the same way I find Colbert cute now, really. I'm weird -- on the rare occasions when I find a celebrity cute, I think "geez, I'd love to meet him and be his friend, maybe buy him a beer," never "I'd totally do him." I've always been weird like that.)
3. Saratoga
Home sweet home ... or close enough, anyway. A fun place to wander around during the summer, get some kettle corn, sit on a bench and people-watch, pop in and out of the shops, maybe go watch the ducks in Congress Park. Plus there's stuff like shows at SPAC (sure hope they come up with something good this year!) and great places to eat out (from the Parting Glass to Hattie's to Longfellow's).
4. Atheism
If there weren't so many people in the world so convinced that their religion is the right one and it's their duty to convert (or even kill) those who don't believe what they do, the world would be a much, much better place. Not that all religious people are bad (she says, hearing the argument before it starts) -- but some are religiously motivated to do some pretty horrible things. Religious people in general are fine by me, of course, as long as they don't try to convert me. As for me, I see all religions as about the same, myths and stories made up to explain when humanity didn't know something. Why is there lightning? Zeus must be mad at us. Why is childbirth so painful? Eve did something really bad a long time ago.
5. Musicals
I <3 musicals. I've only seen two in person, though: RENT in the West End while I was in London and Phantom of the Opera when it was at Proctors a few years back. I also loved the movie of Sweeney Todd (the RENT movie was actually pretty good, too). I have more soundtracks than I've seen shows, by far, and I'd love to see all of the ones I have soundtracks to someday.
