Musings in verse
Jan. 6th, 2007 09:43 pmI don't claim that this is good enough to even qualify as a poem... but it came into my head.
Hue and Cry
Blue people are
raindrop calm,
peacemakers,
we aim to please,
patient and kind,
open-minded.
Red people are
firestorm fierce,
demanders,
my way or the highway,
cranky and contentious,
unsatisfied.
Mixing colors
creates calamity,
violent violet,
swirling hurricane
of cross purposes,
a mental maelstrom.
Azure must defer
to ardent scarlet,
or at least act
as if it were so,
appeasement
with an eye-roll.
But both must
use caution,
nurture purple's
progress without
trampling its
tranquil core.
