Whoa, what a crazy day.

Special section insanity. And I ended up sending beyond-the-last-minute fixes, 'cause lines of text mysteriously moved/disappeared after the pages were sent, or something, some weird crap. And I was hearing about press problems, and ink blots, and all of this stuff, and being that I'm here, and I couldn't make a difference if I was down there anyway, I just have to cross my fingers and pray that they don't screw it up in the plateroom. And oh, by the way, the advance copies aren't gonna make it on the truck, so I get to wait until Thursday to see it while getting an ulcer over it.

But it's not all bad, 'cause my boss totally appreciates me, to an extent that made my jaw drop and my face flush, and that's freakin' awesome.

Today was a busy-crazy day, but it was also a pretty good day, work-wise, 'cause today, I felt appreciated, respected, like part of the gang. :)
