What a great day. :)

It started out nice... slept in 'til almost noon, took a leisurely shower, went over to Joe's. We spent a little time together, then we went to dinner at Red Robin, where I had a really awesome chicken sandwich (definitely gonna get that again).

And then, there was Sarah's 'Ween party. :) I managed to get a little bit lost getting there, but only a little bit, and thankfully, parking was both easy and actually safe -- no missing hubcaps, no eggs, nothing, huzzah.

And the party itself was really enjoyable. I felt a little bad for Joe, 'cause I could sense that he was feeling a bit nervous and out of place, but it was really nice to see Sarah again, as well as Marcus, the birthday-Lippy and her new boy (seems like a pretty good guy), Deb-and-Eric, Beth, Kendra, Laura and a couple of other members of the gang. I even got to meet my great-great-little; her name is Sam, and she seems pretty nice, though (understandably) quiet. It was fun being with them again, spending time and sharing stories and joking around (and apparently, I still have my sick college sense of humor :) ), and I was happy to be able to show off my amazing boyfriend. I'm so glad that he was willing to come with me and meet my friends, 'cause I know it couldn't have been easy for him, walking into a stranger's apartment, surrounded by people who all know each other when he's just meeting everyone.

Thank you, Sarah, for being the hostess with the mostest, so to speak. :) The only thing missing was our absent friends, though we did have a toast to them and talk about them a lot, and Sarah Beth called during the party, which was cool.

Today was such an all-around great day, thanks to the presence of many people who are very important to me, both Joe and my E-posse. It was a very, very happy 'Ween this year. :)
