Jun. 1st, 2005 02:28 amWhere does all the time go?
Suddenly, it's June, when it was just April and I don't know what happened to May.
My workdays are full up: get up, get ready, go to work, work, go home late, take a few hours to myself online, go to bed, do it over.
My weekends have vanished, now, too, and while I like the idea of getting things done, of making the most of my weekends and being productive, going places and doing things, it's a bit disconcerting when you go for weeks without down time, without those big chunks of weekend got-nothin'-to-do-but-sit-on-my-ass time.
I sense a TMBG song in there somewhere.
I wonder if anyone else has made one of those WinAmp indicator thingys? I had one once, but the guy shut the site down -- it was this thing where you'd post a graphic and it would automatically update to tell people what song you were listening to.
I should get a new mood theme. I should make a new one, myself, with Green Day and MCR pics. I could probably just replace the pictures, couldn't I? Just delete the pictures I have now and make new ones with the same names to replace them? Hm.
I'm almost 26, and I'm still single. *sigh*
I wish I had tomorrow off, and the day after. I could use a couple of extra days. I think if I suddenly had extra days, I'd get some money out of the bank and go rent all of the Star Wars movies, do a marathon. Maybe I'd listen to some music -- I've got new CDs I haven't listened to much yet, but I'm already thinking of others I'd like to buy (the newest Jimmy Eat World, maybe the new Nine Inch Nails, too, or maybe even that band with the Ohio song... Hawthorn Heights, is that it?).
I'm listening to Kerplunk right now, except with the last four tracks cut off, 'cause if it doesn't have Tré, eh, y'know?
I bet nobody will read this far down in this random-ass entry.
I had someone tell me today that Splenda is a diuretic. Wonder if that's true. It would explain why this Dasani lemon-water makes me pee so much. I thought it was just 'cause it's, y'know, water.
