(no subject)

I listened to the New Kids in the car today, and I was surprised by how many of the lyrics I knew to songs I haven't heard in 20 years. I don't know whether they were all lodged in the back of my brain somewhere all this time or whether it's just that the lyrics are very formulaic, all pop-y and rhyme-y. I didn't really notice that at the time. Then again, I was just a little kid.
