Planning ahead, for once
Jan. 8th, 2009 02:12 pmI'm thinking that I should do ... something ... for my birthday this year, seeing as it's a milestone year.
But it's on a Thursday. And I've never thrown a party and am not really a party-throwing person.
Going out of town sounds nice, in theory -- I spent my last birthday in San Francisco, and I spent my 20th in London. But if I went away, it might be by myself, and it seems like I should spend the day with people who care about me, someone who will notice and give a crap that it's my birthday.
So I don't really know what I want to do. It's six months away, but it popped into my head a couple of days ago, and for once, I'm actually thinking ahead. Whether I come up with any ideas is another thing.
