Year in review meme
Dec. 21st, 2008 02:39 amI don't even have a copy of this one to steal it from -- I just remember it, and I felt like doing it, so here goes. You've all seen this one before -- copy the first line from the first entry of every month. (Use entries that are actual posts, not quizzes/memes/etc.)
January: "I went to see "Sweeney Todd" tonight with Deb and Eric."
February: "Ladies and gentlemen, I give to you... Cheeseburger in a can (scroll down to read posts from a guy who actually tried one)."
March: "I just had to edit a cutline that reminded me that tomorrow/"today"/March 2, 2008, is the 10th anniversary of Suzy Lyall's disappearance."
April: "I am still alive." (Ah, that was the day I got my wisdom teeth out.)
May: "Happiness is spending time with dear friends and sisters." (After Shannon's wedding.)
June: "I'm really glad this whole Democratic primary kerfuffle is pretty much done with."
July: "I wish I could go see some fireworks."
August: "I had the most incredible weekend. :)" (After Kendra's wedding and meeting Steve's family.)
September: "I went to the state fair yesterday with my parents (yay for freeloading on gas and tolls), and I had a good time, aside from a bit of sunburn."
October: "Y'know, those Jews are really on to something with their Rosh Hashanah food." (The joys of apples and honey.)
November: "Day One of NaNoWriMo."
December: "I actually worked today, busy busy, all day long, putting together the A section (including A1, yays!)."
Weird how the most important thing that happened this year isn't in any of these lines. It takes me more than one line to get around to that, I guess.
