Happy and content :)

I had the most incredible weekend. :)

Saturday I didn't have to work, and instead, I got to go to Kendra's wedding. It was so nice to see everybody again, and Kendra looked so pretty! And Marcus had to have been the happiest looking groom I've ever seen -- he was grinning like an idiot all day long, like he'd just won the lottery several times over. I'm really happy for both of them, 'cause they looked so darn happy together.

Sunday, Steve took me to meet his parents and his sister, brother-in-law and 1-year-old nephew. It seemed like everybody liked me alright, and his nephew was ADORABLE! I've never wanted kids, but I swear, if they were all like him, I'd be a lot more tempted. Everybody there was nice, and after all that panic, it was a pretty decent day.

And then there was last night, when I finally had a chance to reconnect with Steve, just the two of us. It was a special, wonderful night; he really showed me just how much he cares about me and how much I mean to him. :) :) I've had a stupid grin plastered on my face since then, and I'm still smiling now, 'cause I'm just so damn happy I can't help it. :) :) :)
