Flat on my ass
May. 31st, 2007 12:44 amThis morning, as I was getting out of the shower, I realized that I'd left the shave gel in the hall closet, so I snuck out to grab it. I stepped back into the bathroom, on the wet, laminate-tile floor, with bare, wet feet ... and promptly fell flat on my ass.
It was actually one of those things where it just started as a slip, so I reached out to grab the open door with one hand to steady myself, just as it went from slip to full-on fall, hurting the crap out of my hand as it smacked the door really hard, not to mention my shoulder and elbow (which I landed on) and my ass. Apparently, the shoulder blade on the other side got into the act somehow, too, 'cause it hurts like hell now.
That's pretty much the kind of day it was all day.
