Bits and pieces

Y'know, a good breakfast is underrated. For the past coupla days, I've been actually putting effort into breakfast, making actual breakfast food instead of throwing together something easy and unhealthy. And y'know, it doesn't actually take me any longer to be eating french toast and bacon as it does to be eating onion rings and a sandwich. Yum, french toast. :)

Watched the Grammys at work last night. I was psyched that Mariah Carey didn't win anything on TV (just a few non-televised ones), 'cause I think she's totally overrated. And U2 had a good album, so they deserved to win a bunch of stuff. Still, I couldn't figure out why they let Fantasia Barrino on stage during a performance -- we don't need to hear her godawful screeching, thanks. And I'm guessing that all of the women got a memo to wear the ugliest thing they could find, 'cause there were a whole lot of truly hideous dresses.

The Olympics start tomorrow, huzzah. It's the one time where no matter how much we disagree with each other, we can all pull together for one thing -- U-S-A! Not to mention it's the only time you get to see cool sports like luge, skeleton, bobsledding, women's hockey and curling (hey, I like curling).

Five days until Valentine's Day. :)

I've got a kitty. He does this every day now, jumps up into my lap while I'm on the computer. What a cutie. :)
