Smells like nostalgia :)
Jan. 31st, 2006 02:10 amTonight, Joe and I stopped at a K-mart (it was there, why not), and he bought me Play-Doh -- they had this two-pack of shimmery pretty colors (with a sculpted penguin on the label), and I thought it was neat, so he got it for me.
Here's something I didn't know: Play-Doh is cheap. I've never bought Play-Doh, but I think I was under the impression that it was reasonably pricey, 'cause it's a nice, name-brand toy product. Not so. The pack Joe got me was two regular-sized pots (not those little mini ones) for only a dollar. Good deal.
The smell of Play-Doh has got to be one of my favorite smells, too. All I had to do was open a pot and take a whiff, and I felt like a kid again (not to mention that I had a strange momentary urge to eat some -- I dunno, it just smelled tasty for a minute). Play-Doh is great stuff. I didn't mold it into anything yet, though, just squashed it around in my hand for a while, enjoying the texture and the smell. :)
