Y'know, sometimes, I just don't have the words -- me, a word person, it's true.

There's got to be a word that's stronger and more specific than "amazing," but I can't come up with it.

It's like being dropped onto another planet, or something, a situation where I just can't find the right words to describe it. For all I know, the words don't exist. (So I'll have to make one up... scrumtralescent.) (Yeah, I know, I had to do it. :) )

I actually got some stuff done today -- did a bunch of laundry, picked up my sty of a room at least a little. I intend to dye my hair tonight, too, 'cause I'm waaaay overdue, since I didn't think it was a good idea to do it when my scalp was sunburnt.

Saw a movie tonight that I'd never heard of. It was called Jacket, and it was about a guy who got shot in the head in the Gulf War and ends up in an asylum, and it gets into all of this interesting stuff about mental conditions and about the nature of time, interacting along one timeline to create another (at least, that's the way I saw it -- it was really pretty open to interpretation, depending on how linear your view of time is). It was actually a pretty good movie. Not surprisingly, my mom didn't get it. She tends to get frustrated by movies that don't have a linear, forward-moving timeline. Someday, I'd like to watch Memento with her -- I bet that'll mess with her head.

Meanwhile, I'm going through my CDs and MP3s, and I discovered that a bunch of files I want are on that corrupted disc, which blows. If anyone's got the soundtrack to You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown and is willing to send me a coupla MP3s, let me know, 'cause I lost the whole damn album. :( I also lost a bunch of other stuff, but most of the other stuff I had already burned onto other discs or could track down easily on IUMA.
