I have a bunch of cool pics I want to make icons with, but I don't have ideas for what to do with them. I hate when that happens. I crop the pics down, look at them and go "uh, now what?" As it is, I just did one that I spent like a half-hour on to come up with the right words to use on it... and I ended up using the most straightforward, obvious thing, after hunting around for something else. Waste of time, totally, but at least I read some interviews I hadn't seen before.
