Presently screwed

My parents' anniversary was yesterday.

I've yet to get them a present -- it just sorta snuck up on me, like it was April and I was really busy, and then bam, there it was, already here.

So I figure I have a reprieve until Sunday, seeing as I've been working. But that better be it, Mother's Day or not.

I usually make them a nice dinner. That would be do-able, I guess, though I haven't a clue what I'd make and am personally getting a bit worn out on it, not to mention that I'm sure they expect it, and that's no fun. Plus, I don't have a whole lotta money at the moment. That would justify the wait the most, though, something they couldn't get until I'm home on my weekend.

I thought of getting them a lilac bush. That's probably a stupid idea, though.

I'm open to any ideas, 'cause I don't really know what to do, except that I need to come up with something, fast.
