Settling into shit

Tonight didn't go all that badly. I mean, it sucks, and I'm working too much, but y'know, it could be worse.
Maybe I will get Sept. 25 off. After all, someone's gonna have to be lead person on my weekends, so whoever that ends up being, they could work for me, maybe, right? It's worth a shot. I'm not giving up hope yet.
