Random crap

That new turkey/bacon wrap from Subway looks kinda good. It's low-carb, too. I may have to try that this week. Subway's a popular dinner option at work, 'cause it's really handy and fairly cheap, and we all tend to be lazy and broke.

I hit the bank today, so now I have money. Still contemplating blowing a chunk of it on a small stock of liquor.

I'm tired, 'cause I had two days off and didn't actually get much sleep, didn't even get to sleep in. Five more days 'til the next weekend. Hope this week isn't too bad. At least I have a few books now, and I'm gonna take one to work from now on, so I have something to read in case it gets super-slow like it did every day last week. Man, that was brutal.

I have "They're Not Gonna Get Us" by Tatu in my head (yes, I know the capitalization's wrong, but I can never remember which letters in there get capped). Odd considering I don't own that song and haven't heard it in months. I wouldn't mind having that song, but I'm hesitant to buy their CD, 'cause I have the feeling I won't like it. Well, that and the fact that I'm broke.

Speaking of spending, my DVDs from Amazon, which weren't predicted to get here until like the 20-something-th, really should be here soon. According to their tracking thing, my stuff was in Latham this morning. It really shouldn't take all that long to ship from Latham to here -- maybe even tomorrow, but surely it'll be sooner than the 20-something-th.

Dammit, I should get to bed early. The bank and the car dealer conspired to steal my sleeping-in time this weekend (and then that damned snow squall kept me from even going to the bank, so I could've just slept in, dammit), so I didn't get enough sleep, especially considering that I was tired already from the six-day week.

Hey, anyone else just notice, those of you in the area, that we now get Fuse on TV? It's even on basic cable, too, not just digital, 'cause I can get it in my bedroom sans digital box. The music's not always that great, but hey, another channel. It's the one with Steven Smith on it, too, those of you who watch QE. His show's on at 6, though, which isn't a good TV-watching time for me -- still, I gotta catch it one of these days to see how he looks. Y'know, it totally bugs me that the cable folks keep sneaking in new channels. I'm all about new channels, more channels is good, but I wish they'd tell us -- my parents swear they didn't see anything in the cable bill, but this is twice now that I've just stumbled across a new channel. First Boomerang, now Fuse -- I'm not complaining, both are good additions.
