Didja ever have one of those days where everything you do makes you think of your friends, who you haven't seen in forever?

First, I ran a column today about the blackout, and it opened with a few grafs about Michael Rennie starring in "The Day The Earth Stood Still." As soon as I read that, all I could think was "Michael Rennie was ill, the day the earth stood still, but he told us, where to stand...", for half the night, "Science Fiction Double Feature" was in my head.

Then, I was downloading opinion cartoons, and one of them referred to the outdated power grid by showing a sticker that said "28 Skidoo" -- and of course, I thought of "The Ballad of The Sneak," and I started humming that while thinking about Homestar, which again made me think of my dear friends, who I never get to see. :(

If nothing else, I can truly say that all of you E's were in my thoughts to say. There's only one other tiny positive -- I have tomorrow off, no parents around, free reign over the house (and huge, surround-sound TV) and a tape of Rocky Horror.
