Everything starts today

Huzzah, I got shit done today... got up early, got money for the weekend, washed the car (shocker, I know), got the oil changed, then came home and screwed off.

I watching the tomato episode of Good Eats tonight, and now I'm thinking of making my own tomato sauce. Never mind that I don't even like tomato sauce all that much. Never mind also that I'd have to go out and buy a special piece of equipment just for this one dish, a food mill. We'll see, I guess. It did look kinda tasty.

Two days of work, then a whole day off, woo! Better still, it just occured to me that the new boss took Friday off for her holiday, meaning that whoever I work with, I've got a shot at actually getting out before midnight. This'll be good, 'cause I have to get up at the asscrack of dawn (for me, anyway) Saturday -- no later than 9 a.m., which is pretty brutal for a night owl like me. Still, a whole day off from work, and a whole day of listening to cool music and hanging out with Jess. Rock on. :)
